BP: Storyboard Final

In reviewing others storyboards I realized that this assignment is open to interpretation. Some people mainly used pictures to convey their ideas, while others used short phrases to grasp the concept they were going for. My project included pictures, and also outlined the exact audio and visuals that would be used in the film. I believe a storyboard is meant to literally plan out each take you plan you shoot, and although providing just a general idea is effective it does not give you a sense of what kind of movie is being made. Many of the projects I reviewed were beautiful power points that clearly stated the objectives of the project, but they lacked a creative edge. For my project I did not want to clearly spell out how design affects consumerism. Instead I wanted to create a script that answered these questions in a more subtle, comprehensive way, so that the film did not feel rigid and purely informational.
